Product Information
Texwhite-A is an optical brightening agent for polyester and polyester blends. Texwhite-A is suitable for application at low temperature by exhaust method. It can also be applied by padding method. Substrate treated with Texwhite-A offers neutral white tone and good light fastness.

Application

Padding process

  • Texwhite-A : 4.8 g/l
  • Saracid-RS : 2-3 g/l
  • Saraline-FI : 3-5 g/l
  • Pick-up : 65-70 %
  • Bath pH : 4.5 - 5.5
  • Thermofix : 170-210 deg.C, 45-60 secs.

Exhaust process

  • Texwhite-A : 0.4 - 0.8%
  • Saragen-DAM : 0.5-1% (optional)
  • Saracid-RS : 0.5-1%
  • Bath pH : 4.5-5.5
  • Bath Temp. : 95-130 deg.C,
  • Time : 20-30 mins.

Note :

  1. Texwhite-A may tend to settle down on prolonged storage. In such a case, simple stirring is recommended before use.
  2. Texwhite-A can also be added during finishing of polyester and polyester blends alongwith other finishing chemicals.

Precautions

Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
