Antifoam-ASD is a silicone based defoamer suitable for all textile wet processing operations, i.e. sizing, scouring, printing, finishing, etc. where foam control is essential. Antifoam-ASD does not lead to any objectionable deposits on equipments or substrates due to its high stability. It has excellent foam control property and greater compatibility in difficult surfactants, i.e. contain solvents and electrolytes.

Application
Antifoam-ASD is stable to acidic , alkaline pH and at elevated temperature. Depending upon the requirement 0.1 - 0.5% Antifoam-ASD can be used.
Note: Recommended dilution 1:1 to 1:10. For high dilution, stability can be extended by addition of small amount of thickener i.e. Xanthan gum or Polyacrylates.
Preservation: It is recommended to add 0.1% Bronopol (2-Bromo,2-nitropropane, 1,3-diol) or Methyl Paraben (methyl para hydroxy benzoate) as an antimicrobial agent to avoid fungal / microbial growth.
Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight.Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.
Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
