Product Information

Quench-LCL is an excellent economical product to prevent phenolic yellowing of cotton lycra, polyamide and polyester fabrics, during storage packed in polyethylene bags or cardboard cartons. Quench-LCL should be applied to white to light shaded fabrics. Quench-LCL can be added with finishing agent. Quench-LCL is compatible with optical brightening agent and does not affect the whiteness of finished fabric. It can be applied by padding and by exhaust.

Padding process :

  • Dosage : 80-100 g/l, Polyamide & Polyamide / Lycra blend
  •               :15-30 g/l, Polyester
  • Pick-up : 65-70%
  • Bath pH : 4.0-4.5
  • Drying : 140-160 deg.C, 1-2 mins.

Exhaust process :

1. Polyamide & Polyamide / Lycra blend

  • Dosage : 8-10%
  • Bath pH : 4.0-4.5
  • Bath Temp.: 40 deg.C
  • Time : 30 mins.

2. Polyester

  • Dosage : 1.5-3.0%
  • Bath pH : 4.0-4.5
  • Bath Temp.: 65-70 deg.C
  • Time : 20-30 mins.

Note :
OBA finished fabric treated with Quench-LCL shows marginal yellowing.


Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
