Product Information

Haysoft-860 is a new generation hydrophilic macro polysiloxane which gives extra-ordinary smooth surface touch. It can be applied by exhaust as well by padding method. It is suitable for terry towels, knits and woven fabric. Finishing with Haysoft-860 leads to soft and hydrophilic finish.

Haysoft-860 is shear stable and hence suitable in jets, soft flow and garment washing machines.

Note:- pH of bath should not exceed 6.5 (pH of bath should be acidic)

Instructions For Dilution

Procedure to prepeare 25% Haysoft-860

- Take 42 parts of Haysoft-860 in stainless steel vessel

- To this add 58 parts of DM water

- Stir at 2000-2500 rpm till homogenous product is obtained

- Adjust the product pH 5.0 +/- 0.5 with dilute acetic acid if required.

- Undissolved particles if any can be filtered off.

Preservation: It is recommended to add 0.1% Bronopol

(2-Bromo,2-nitropropane, 1,3-diol) or Methyl Paraben (methyl para hydroxy benzoate) as an antimicrobial agent to avoid fungal / microbial growth.

It is advisable to utilize the diluted product within 2 months.

Stir well before use.

Precautions

Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C. Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
