Padding Process

• Dosage: 3-8 g/l
• Pick-up: 65-70%
• Bath pH: 5.0-6.0
• Drying: 130-160 deg.C

Exhaust Process

• Dosage: 0.3-0.8%
• Bath pH: 5.0-6.0
• Bath Temp: 30-40 deg.C
• Time: 20-30 mins.

* Dosages recommended are based on the concentrated product's strength.

Dosages of diluted product to be calculated on the basis of solid content.

Note:

• Fabsoft (Conc). has a tendency to turn from colourless to yellow during storage.
• pH of the bath should not exceed 6.5 (pH of the bath should be acidic)

Instructions for Dilution

Procedure to prepare 20% diluted product of 75% Fabsoft (Conc).

• Take 70 parts of DM water (25-30 deg.C, pH adjusted to 5-5.5 with acetic acid)
• To this, gradually add 30 parts of Fabsoft (Conc). under constant stirring at 200-300 rpm using an impeller stirrer to obtain a homogenous product.

Preservation: It is recommended to add 0.1% Bronopol (2-Bromo,2-nitropropane, 1,3-diol) or Methyl Paraben (methyl para hydroxy benzoate) as an antimicrobial agent to avoid fungal/microbial growth.

Avoid high-speed stirring

It is advisable to utilize the diluted product within 2 months. Stir well before use.

Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
