GEOTEX-HPA (CONC) | Antistatic and Moisture Management

Geotex-HPA (Conc) is hydrophilic and antistatic agent developed specially for dyeing and finishing of synthetic fibres such as  polyamide, polyester and their blends. Geotex-HPA (Conc) can also be used as an additive in wash and wear finishing.  Treatment with Geotex-HPA (Conc) provides improvement in moisture transport properties resulting comfortness. 

Fabric treated with Geotex-HPA (Conc) becomes softer, more supple and provides more pleasing touch to wearer.

Padding process

• Dosage* : 5-10 g/l
• Pick-up : 65-70%
• Bath pH : 5.0-6.0
• Drying : 130-160 deg.C

Exhaust process

• Dosage*     : 0.5-1%
• Bath pH      : 5.0-6.0
• Bath Temp. : 30-40 deg.C
• Time           : 20-30 mins.

*Dosages recommended are based on the concentrated product's strength.

Dosages of diluted product to be calculated on the basis of solid content.

Note:

• The effect of Geotex-HPA (Conc) is durable for washing below 40 deg.C
• Finishing of dyed goods above 40 deg.C temperature, may cause bleeding depending on the colourfastness of shade

Instructions For Dilution

Procedure to prepare 20% diluted product of 100% Geotex-HPA (Conc)

• Take 79 parts DM water (60 deg.C)
• To this, add 0.5-1 part of Xanthan gum (viscosity modifier)
• Stir at 150-200 rpm for 30-40 min to obtain homogenous liquid.
• After cooling, add 20 parts of Geotex-HPA (Conc) and stir at 150-200 rpm for 20-25 min.

Preservation: It is recommended to add 0.1% Bronopol (2-Bromo,2-nitropropane, 1,3-diol) or Methyl Paraben (methyl para hydroxy benzoate) as an antimicrobial agent to avoid fungal / microbial growth.

Geotex HPA (Conc) is a surfactant free self dispersing product and has tendency to settle or separate. It is to be stirred well before use.
