Saradye-M is a special formulation for dyeing of reactive dyes and vat dyes by exhaust as well as pad application. Saradye-M improves the solubility of reactive dyes under adverse conditions of dyeings such as low liquor ratio, poor quality of salt, hardness in water, poor solubility of dyestuff. Use of urea can be eliminated by addition of Saradye-M. Hence, BOD values of the effluent can be reduced considerably. Apart from improving the solubility of reactive dyes, it also eliminates mineral impurities from the fibre. Saradye-M also act as a dyebath conditioner and levelling agent particularly for package dyeing.
|Prevents precipitation of low solubility reactive dyes in package dyeing and at low MLR.
|Reduces strike rate
|Uneven dyeing with incompatible dyes can be minimised
|Conventional dyebath conditioners can be eliminated
|Does not affect colour value or tone
|Recipe correction not require
|Suitable for jet and package dyeing
|Clear to turbid brownish liquid
|pH of 1% solution
|8 +/- 1
|Miscible with water
|Compatible with anionic and non-ionic products
|Stable to dilute acids, dilute alkalies, salt commonly used in reactive dyeing
1. Exhaust process
0.5 - 2 g/l Saradye-M
Can be added in the dyebath depending upon quality of water, amount of dyestuffs, quality of dyestuffs & quality of salt Half the quantity of Saradye-M can be added while dissolving the dyestuffs and balance quantity can be added in the dye- bath.
2. Continuous dyeing
3-6 g/l Saradye-M
is recommended in the pad liquor for uniformity of the dyeing as well as good bath stability. Half the quantity of Saradye-M can be added while dissolving the dyestuffs and balance quantity can be added in the padding liquor .
3. Grey dyeing of cotton yarn & knits in medium and dark shades with reactive dyes
0.5-1.0 g/l Celldet-R
0.3-0.5 g/l Saraquest-W
Treat at 85 deg.C for 15-20 min., cool the bath below required dyeing temperature,
add 1 g/l Saradye-M
Circulate for 5 mins. and carry out isothermal dyeing as recommended by dyestuff manufacturer.
Product may show slight settlement on keeping for long time. Stir well before use if any settlement.
Storage: Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.
Shelf Life: 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
