Discharge Printing

Reducit-ZS is a speciality product for discharge priting. It is particularly used for white discharge and white discharge-resist prints on wool, silk, nylon, polyester and other synthetic fibres. It also has application in high-solvent pigment discharge priting. Reducit-ZS helps in shrinkproofing of wool. Reducit-ZS is also reduction clearing agent in powder form, suitable for removing unfixed disperse dyes from dyeings and prints on polyester in acidic medium. It is applied in cooling dyebath in acidic medium. Reducit-ZS can be used as wool bleaching agent in acidic medium causing minimum damage to wool.

Application

1. Discharge Printing:

Reducit-ZS is used 12-20% for discharge printing depending on the depth of shade.

2. Reduction Clearing:

It is highly effective in a cooling, acid dye bath. The pH of the bath should be 4.5-5 (The pH should not be lower than 4.5)

For medium shade

Reducit-ZS

0.5 - 1% o.w.f.

For dark shade

Reducit-ZS

1-1.5% o.w.f.

After dyeing, treat for 10 - 20 mins at 70-80 deg.C, then rinse hot and cold.

Instructions For Dilution

Reducit-ZS is to be used as such and no dilution required.

Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
