Anti-pilling agent

Helafin-42 is a novel finishing agent for Cotton, Polyester and their blends. It improves the resistance to snagging and reduces the tendency of seam slippage. It also acts as an anti-slipping agent for fibres to avoid yarn slippage and imparts anti-pilling property. It can be applied by exhaust as well as pad application. It can be applied in combination with water-repellent agents and with resins.

Application

Padding process

• Dosage :  20-30 g/l
• Pick-up : 65-70%
• Bath pH : 5.0-6.0
• Drying : 130-160 deg.C

Exhaust process

• Dosage :  2-3%
• Bath pH : 5.0-6.0
• Bath Temp : 30-40 deg.C
• Time : 20-30 mins.

Note :

•  To achieve better results at higher revolutions, higher concentration (30-70 gpl) of Helafin-42 is recommended
•  Lab trial is suggested

Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
