Sugar Acrylate Sequesterants

Chelatin-SA is a phosphorous free sequestering agent suitable for scouring, bleaching, dyeing and washing off of cellulosic and its blends. It can also be used as a demineralizing agent and also act as stabilizer in Hydrogen Peroxide bleach bath. It has excellent Ca & Fe Chelation efficiency values even at pH values of 5-11. It also possess very good dispersing property, hence act as dispersing agent in dyebath. It can also be used as washing off agent. 

Chelatin-SA is ecofriendly sequestering agent with very good biodegradability. It shows no de-metallizing effect for heavy metal containing dyes, if used in dyebath. It is suitable for both batch as well as continuous process.

Application

Pre-treatment

• Celldet R : 0.35-0.5 gpl
• Chelatin SA : 0.4-0.5 gpl
• Caustic soda flakes : 0.5-1.0 gpl
• H202 (50% (v/v)) : 2 - 2.5 gpl

Treat at 98 deg. C for 45 mins or 110 deg. C for 20-25 mins.

Dyeing :

Exhaust	Chelatin SA	0.5 to 1 gpl
Continuous	Chelatin SA	3 to 5 gpl

Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
