Sarasil-JS (Conc) is stable to high alkaline pH and at elevated temperature.
Depending upon the requirement 0.1-0.3 g/l of Sarasil-JS (Conc) can be used.
Instructions For Dilution
Procedure to prepare 15% Sarasil-JS (Conc)
- Take 60.5 parts of DM water (40-50 deg.C)
- To this, add 1 part of Saracrease (Conc) [viscosity modifier].
Stir at 3000 rpm for 20-25 min.
- Add Xanthum gum. Stir at 3000 rpm for 10-15 min.
- Cool to room temp. and then add 37.5 parts Sarasil-JS (Conc)
- Stir at 100 rpm for 20-25 min to get homogenous product
Preservation: It is recommended to add 0.1% Bronopol (2-Bromo,2-nitropropane,
1,3-diol) or Methyl Paraben (methyl para hydroxy benzoate) as an antimicrobial agent
to avoid fungal / microbial growth.
Note:
- Diluted Sarasil-JS (Conc) may show non-uniform appearance as diluted product
is not an emulsion but dispersion.
- Dispersion of the product is stabilized by polysaccharide.
It is advisable to utilize the diluted product within 2 months. Stir well before use.
Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.
Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
