Concentrated, yarn lubricating agent

Yarnsoft-FRS (Conc) is a concentrated lubricating agent for finishing of cotton, polyester filament, spun polyester and polyester / cellulosic yarn. Yarnsoft-FRS (Conc) imparts very good lubricity and gliding properties to the pretreated yarns which exhibit very low friction values. Yarnsoft-FRS (Conc) also imparts antistatic properties. Yarnsoft-FRS (Conc) is stable to heat and shows very low emission particularly for automotive textiles.

Application

Exhaust process:

• Dosage* : 0.3-1.0%
• Bath pH : 5.0-6.0
• Bath Temp. : 30-60 deg.C
• Time : 10-20 mins.

We recommend the in-out cycle of 3 mins. and reverse the cycle of 5 mins. for uniform absorption within the package.

*Dosages recommended are based on the concentrated product's strength.

Dosages of diluted product to be calculated on the basis of solid content.

Instructions For Dilution

Procedure to prepare 20% diluted product of 70% Yarnsoft-FRS (Conc).

Method-I

• Take 71.5 part water in a vessel
• To it add 28.5 parts of product slowly under stirring at 2000-3000 rpm using turbo stirrer.
• Continue stirring for 20-30 min. at 2000-3000 rpm till a homogeneous product is formed.

Method-II

• Take 28.5 Kg products in a vessel.
• To it add 71.5 Kg water under stirring at 150-200 rpm
• Continue stirring for 20-30 min. until a homogeneous product is formed.

Preservation: It is recommended to add 0.1% Bronopol (2-Bromo,2-nitropropane, 1,3-diol) or Methyl Paraben (methyl para hydroxy benzoate) as an antimicrobial agent to avoid fungal / microbial growth.

Note:

• Un-dissolved particles if any can be filtered off (filter through nylon filter cloth of 200-250 mesh size).
• Diluted product should not be stored for longer time.
• Stir well before use, as a diluted product has a tendency to separate.
• It is advisable to utilize the diluted product within 2 months.

Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C. Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 12 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
