Product Information

Tearnon (Conc) is a finishing agent specially developed to improve the tear strength of the woven cellulosic substrates. Incorporation of Tearnon (Conc) in the normal finishing bath as well as in resin finishing bath improves tear strength without affecting the fabric handle. Tearnon (Conc) does not affect whiteness or brightness of the fabric.

Application

Padding process

  • Dosage* : 5-10 g/l
  • pick-up : 65-70%
  • Bath pH : 5.0-6.0
  • Dyring : 140-160 deg.C

*Dosages recommended are based on the concentrated product's strength.

Dosages of diluted product to be calculated on the basis of solid content.

5-10 g/l Tearnon (Conc). is recommended in usual finishing recipes including resin finish

Instructions For Dilution

Procedure to prepare 11% diluted product of 40% Tearnon (Conc).

  • Take 28.94 parts of Tearnon (Conc).
  • To this, slowly add 71 parts of DM water at room temperature under constant stirring at 150-200 rpm using paddle stirrer
  • Continue stirring for 30-45 mins to obtain a homogeneous liquid

Preservation: It is recommended to add 0.1% Bronopol (2-Bromo,2-nitropropane, 1,3-diol) or Methyl Paraben (methyl para hydroxy benzoate) as an antimicrobial agent to avoid fungal / microbial growth.

It is advisable to utilize the diluted product within 2 months. Stir well before use.

Precautions

Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
