Rubfast-116 is a newly developed rubbing fastness improver for all types of dyed / printed cotton and blends. It is also suitable on Direct, Reactive, Sulphur, Indigo and Pigment dyed / printed fabrics.

Application
Preparation of padding bath with Rubfast-116 :
- Take required quantity of Rubfast-116 (30 g/l)
- To this, gradually add water (pH 5.5-6.4) and make the total volume. Avoid using hard water.
- Mix well to get uniform solution
- Solution of 30 g/l Rubfast-116 will appear straw white in colour with pH 3.5-3.6
- Adjust final pH to 3-3.6
Padding Application :
Pad -> Dry at 130-160 deg.C
Spray application:
Dosage : 30 g/l
Spray-->Dry--> Cure @ 130-160 deg.C, 2-3 min
Special Instructions :
1. Fabric to be treated should be free from anionic components.
2. Absorbency of fabric should be instant.
3. For garments, it is essential to cure at 150 deg.C after exhaustion
4. If the water pH>6.2, adjust it to pH 5.8-6.2 and then use.
5. 30 g/l Rubfast-716 will appear Colourless to straw white.
6. Avoid using hard water.
7. Prepare the solution at room temperature (approx.30 deg.C)
8. Do not keep Rubfast-716 stock solution standing.
9. Ensure that the padding bath pH is 3.7-4.2 throughout the process.
10.Pre-lab trials are recommended with other finishing agents.
11.On standing the product tends to turn darker.
12.Rubfast-716 has limited durability to washings.
Note:
Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C. Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.
Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
