Product Information
Supercone-2100 (Conc) is a concentrated cold water soluble organic softener for cotton yarns, acrylic, hosiery, wool, silk and garments. Unlike conventional cationic softeners, Supercone-2100 (Conc) finished fabric shows minimum yellowing and shade change, hence it is ideal for finishing of whites and light dyed material.

Application

Padding process 

  • Dosage* : 4-7 g/l
  • Pick-up : 65-70%
  • Bath pH : 5.0-6.0
  • Drying : 130-160 deg.C

Exhaust process

  • Dosage*  :  0.4-1% 
  • Bath pH : 5.0-6.0
  • Bath Temp. : 30-40 deg.C
  • Time : 20-30 mins.

*Dosages recommended are based on the concentrated product's strength.

Dosages of diluted product to be calculated on the basis of solid content


Instructions For Dilution

Procedure to prepare 10% diluted product of 100% Supercone-2100 (Conc).

Method-I

  • Take 89 parts of DM water. Adjust the pH of the water to 4.5-5.5
  • To this, add 11 parts of Supercone-2100 (Conc). Soak for 8-12 hrs.
  • After 8-12 hrs, stir constantly for 20-30 mins to obtain a homogeneous product

Method-II

  • Take 89 parts of DM water. Adjust the pH of the water to 4.5-5.5
  • To this, gradually add 11 parts of Supercone-2100 (Conc). with constant stirring.
  • Stir for 30-45 mins to obtain homogeneous product and allow standing for overnight to completely dissolve all the particles.

Preservation: It is recommended to add 0.1% Bronopol (2-Bromo,2-nitropropane, 1,3-diol) or Methyl Paraben (methyl para hydroxy benzoate) as an antimicrobial agent to avoid fungal/microbial growth.

Note: Before use, stir for 5 min.

It is advisable to utilize the diluted product within 2 months. Stir well before use.

Precautions

Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
