Product Information

Supercone-174 is a concentrated, non-yellowing, non hydrophobic economical organic softener for cotton yarns, knits, wovens, wool, silk and garments. Supercone-174 gives excellent softness to the fabric. Supercone-174 can be used by exhaust as well as pad application.

Application

Padding Process

  • Dosage : 20-30 g/l
  • Pick-up : 65-70%
  • Bath pH : 5.0-6.0
  • Drying : 130-160 deg.C

Exhaust Process

  • Dosage : 2-4%
  • Bath pH : 5.0-6.0
  • Bath Temp : 30-40 deg.C
  • Time : 20-30 mins

Instructions For Dilution

Procedure to prepare 10% of Supercone-174

  • Take 90 parts of DM water (pH 5.5, 90-95 deg.C)
  • To this slowly add 10 parts of Supercone-174 with stirring at 200-300 rpm.
  • Continue stirring for further 45-60 mins. to get homogenous product
  • Continue stirring the product till it cools down to room temperature.

Note : 0.1-0.2 g/l Saraquest-W is recommended if more than 100 ppm hard water is used for dilution.

Preservation : It is recommended to add 0.1% Bronopol (2-Bromo, 2 nitropropane, 1,3-diol) or Methyl Paraben (methyl para hydroxy benzoate) as an antimicrobial agent to avoid fungal / microbial growth.

Precautions

Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
