5. APPLICATION- Used as general industrial fine chemical.

- Used as a pre or post harvest scald inhibitor for apples

- It is intermediate of Dimetacrine, Fencarbamide, Promazine which exhibit Anti-depressant/thymoleptic, anti-cholinergic, anti-emetic/anti-psychotic/neuroleptic.

- It is used mainly for its antioxidant properties. Diphenylamine is widely used as an industrial antioxidant, dye mordant and reagent and is also employed in agriculture as a fungicide and antihelmintic.
