SARADYE-PLE

(Chlorine Fastness Improver)


Product Information


Saradye-PLE is a special formulation to improve fastness to chlorinated pool water for sulphur and reactive dyed / printed cellulosic and cellulosic rich blends. It also effectively works on Vat dyed / printed fabrics. Saradye-PLE has minimum effect on light fastness and tone of the treated material.


Saradye-PLE does not contain formaldehyde and hence suitable for Oekotex Standard 100. Saradye-PLE does not affect the original handle and absorbency of the fabric. Saradye-PLE finished fabric when subjected to multiple washes as per AATCC Test Method-135, do not show shade changes on the fabric.

Application


After thorough soaping and neutralisation, treat the substrate with below recipe.

: 30-50 g/l (depending on chlorine content in water)

Pick-up

: 65-70%

Bath pH

: 5.0-5.5

Drying

: 140-160 deg.C


Exhaust Process

: 3-5 % (depending on chlorine content in water)

: 5.0-5.5

Bath Temp.

: 50 deg.C

Time

: 15-20 mins.

Note :


Saradye-PLE can also effectively work on polyamide fabric dyed/printed with acid dye. One needs to pretreat the fabric with 1% Sarafix-NEW and then pad with 30-50 g/l Saradye-PLE.

Precautions

Storage Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.
Shelf Life 8 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions
