Product Information

Yarnsoft-SRN is a specially developed softener and lubricating agent for dyed cotton yarn which improves the rewinding performance. Cotton yarn dyed in package form either with direct, vat, sulphur or reactive becomes harsh due to combined effect of temperature and alkalinity and create problem in rewinding. Ordinary softeners cannot overcome this problem but with Yarnsoft-SRN, not only the treated yarn becomes soft and smooth but rewinding performance also improves.

Application

After the dyeing is over, neutralise the material with acetic acid at 40-50 degree C for 10 min. Adjust pH to 5-6. Add in the same bath 2-4% (owf) Yarnsoft-SRN and treat at 50-60 degree C for 20-30 min. Dry and rewind.

Yarnsoft-SRN does not affect shade nor its brilliance. Fastness properties are also not influenced by Yarnsoft-SRN.

Precautions

Storage	Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.
Shelf Life	8 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions
