PRODUCT LITERATURE

SARAGEN-DLN

Product Information

Saragen-DLN is recommended to control the rate of dye uptake under adverse conditions of dyeing to obtain level and uniform dyeing. Unlevel dyeing usually occurs when incompatible dyes are used or when heating rate in critical temperature zone is not controlled or due to inherent characteristics of the material. Saragen-DLN effectively ensures gradual exhaustion of dyebaths. Saragen-DLN does not affect shade at recommended dosage. Also it improves certain extent migration of disperse dyes.

Application

1. In Exhaust dyeing of polyester tops, yarn, fibre & fabrics set the bath with

0.5- 1.0 g/l Saragen-DLN

0.5- 1.0 g/l Saracid-RS

Circulate at 60 deg.C for 5-10 min., add dyestuff dispersion, circulate for 5-10 min. Check and adjust pH to 4.5 - 5.5 and dye as per usual method.

2. For correction of faulty dyeings & levelling

0.5- 1.0 g/l Saragen-DLN

2.0- 5.0 g/l Saracid-RS

10-20% dyestuff of the original recipe pH 4.5 - 5.5

Treat at 130 deg.C for 40-60 min. Drain and reduction clear.
