SARAFLAM-TF


Product Information


Saraflam-TF is a water soluble, non-durable flame retardant finishing agent for 100% polyester and its blends. It can be applied by pad and spray application. Saraflam-TF can also be applied on garments via garment drum machine. Saraflam-TF finished fabric acquires soft & dry handle. Saraflam-TF is recommended for furnishing fabrics, tent fabric, etc. Fabric finished with Saraflam-TF is durable to drycleaning.

Application


Before finishing with Saraflam-TF ensure that material is free from residues of earlier treatment which could interfere with performance of Saraflam-TF.


Application by padding :


250-300 g/l Saraflam-TF


Pad with 2 dip 2 nip with minimum 80% pick up to have minimum 20% add-on of Saraflam-TF on treated material. Dry at 110-130 deg.C. and cure at 170-190 deg.C Ensure that padding bath temperature does not exceed 30 deg.C.


Application in Garment drum machine :


25-30% Saraflam-TF


Time 20 - 30 min., drain dry at 110 deg.C - 130 deg.C.


Note :

* Ensure that add on should be 20% of finished goods.

* Many of the common finishing chemicals can interfere with performance of Saraflam-TF. Therefore pretrials are essential. Also ensure drying is uniform using suitable equipment.

Precautions

Storage Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.
Shelf Life 8 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions
