HELAR-PPN (CONC) | Potassium Permanganate Neutralizer

Product Information

Helar-PPN (Conc) is a special formulation to remove residues of potassium permanganate from denim garments and other garments. Helar-PPN (Conc) works much more efficiently in removing dirty brown stains after bleaching with potassium permanganate neutralizer, compared to sodium metabisulphite and other inorganic products commonly used in garment industry. In case of denims, white and brighter surface is obtained.

Application

Depending upon quantity of residual chemicals at the end of potassium permanganate treatment of garments, treat in fresh bath with;

Dosage*	: 0.2-0.5%
Bath pH	: 4.5-5.5
Bath Temp.	: 30-40 deg.C
Time	: 20-30 mins.

Followed by rinsing and softening as usual.

*Dosage of Helar-PPN (Conc) recommended is based on the concentrated product's strength.

Dosages of diluted product to be calculated on the basis of solid content.

Concentration of Helar-PPN (Conc) may be optimised in lab before bulk trials.

Instructions For Dilution

Procedure to prepare 30% diluted product of 100% Helar-PPN (Conc)

- Take 70 parts of DM Water

- To this, add 30 parts of Helar-PPN (Conc) with constant stirring at 100-200 rpm for 30-45 min using paddle stirrer to obtain uniform liquid.

Preservation: It is recommended to add 0.1% Bronopol (2-Bromo,2-nitropropane, 1,3-diol) or Methyl Paraben (methyl para hydroxy benzoate) as an antimicrobial agent to avoid fungal / microbial growth.

Note: Un-dissolved particles if any can be filtered off

Precautions

Storage	Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.
Shelf Life	8 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions
