Product Information

Sarascour-RG is a speciality finishing agent to prevent yellowing of fabrics and knits made from polyamide, lycra and their blends during heat setting, finishing and moulding. Sarascour-RG is recommended for finishing of pale shades as well as for fabrics treated with optical brightening agents. It also prevents oxidation of end amino groups of polyamide during heat treatment as well as yellowing due to NOX fumes indirectly heated stenters.

Application

Substrate Polyamide, Polyamide/Lycra, Polyester/Lycra.

  • Dosage : 20-40 g/l
  • Pick-up : 65-70%
  • Bath pH : 5.0-5.5
  • Heat setting : 180-190 deg.C, 30-60 sec.

After heat setting, remove unfixed dye chemical by the following recipe

  • Saralan-Jet LF / Celldet-R : 0.5-1 g/l
  • Sodium hydrosulphite : 1-2 g/l
  • Soda Ash : 0.5-2 g/l
  • Temp : 80-90 deg.C, 30 mins.

Rinse, neutralise, dry and carry out optical brightening treatment by padding if required.

Precautions

Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 8 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
