Product Information

Caresoft-809(Conc) is a new generation hydrophilic silicone softner. Caresoft-809(Conc) imparts excellent softness and good absorbency on treated substrates. Caresoft-809(Conc) is used for cotton, polyester and their blends such as towels, yarn dyed shirting, knits and bottom weight fabrics.

Padding Process

Dosage* : 5-15 g/l
Pick-up : 65-70%
Bath pH : 5.0-6.0
Drying : 130-160 deg.C

Exhaust Process

Dosage* : 0.5-1.5%
Bath pH : 5.0-6.0
Bath Temp. : 30-40 deg.C
Time : 20-30 mins.

* Dosages recommended are based on the concentrated product's strength.

Dosages of diluted product to be calculated on the basis of solid content.

Note:- pH of the bath should not exceed 6.5 (pH of the bath should be acidic)

Instructions For Dilution

Procedure to prepare 20% diluted product of 60% Caresoft-809(Conc)

Take 1 part of Caresoft-809(Conc)
To this, add 2 parts of DM water
Stir at 200-300 rpm with a normal stirrer for 30-45 mins to obtain a homogeneous product.

Preservation :

It is recommended to add 0.1% Bronopol (2-Bromo, 2-nitropropane,1,3-diol) or Methyl Paraben (methyl para hydroxy benzoate) as an antimicrobial agent to avoid fungal / microbial growth.

Note:

If diluted product is slightly hazy add 1-2% Butyl digiycol or Butyl Cellosolve.
pH of final dilution should be adjusted to 5.0 g/l with acetic acid.

It is advisable to utilize the diluted product within 2 months.

Stir well before use

Precautions

Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
