SARAKOL-738 | Economical washing-off agent

Sarakol-738 is an economical washing-off agent available in powder form. Sarakol-738 is recommended as a washing off agent for reactive dyes in batch operation as well as in continuous operation. It is also suitable for Disperse print washing. Sarakol-738 helps in easy removal of unfixed dyes after dyeing operation.

1. Washing off by Batch Operation in Jigger, winch, softflow machines 
   • 0.3-0.8 g/l Sarakol-738
   • 0.1-0.2 g/l Kalium-NNS (Conc) (optional)
   • pH adjusted to 7, Residual salt concentration should be less than 2 g/l before soaping.
   • Carry out soaping at 90-95deg.C for 10-30 min., hot wash, cold wash, neutralise. Repeat soaping in fresh bath for dark and difficult shades. Dyefixing to be done for dark and difficult shades if required.
2. Soaping of reactives & vat dyes on winch washer 0.3-0.8 g/l Sarakol-738 at 95 deg.C.
3. Soaping of Disperse Dyes 0.5 g/l – 0.75 g/l at 95 deg.C for 10 mins. No need to adjust pH 

Instructions For Dilution

Procedure to prepare 30% Sarakol-738

Take 70 parts of water in vessel add 30 parts of Sarakol-738 stir slowly till homogeneous solution is obtained.

30% solution may show fine particle however how ever it has no effect on the final results. (stir well and use).

Preservation: It is recommended to add 0.1% Bronopol (2-Bromo,2-nitropropane, 1,3-diol) or Methyl Paraben (methyl para hydroxy benzoate) as an antimicrobial agent to avoid fungal/microbial growth. 

Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
