ESTO-PVP | Concentrated product, prevents cross-staining of dyes

Esto-PVP is a concentrated product to avoid cross-staining of dyes in washing-off of dyed and printed substrates. Esto-PVP can be used in batch as well as in continous operation. During washing-off, Esto-PVP forms weak complex with anionic dyes which is kept in dispersion througout washing process and prevents re-deposition thereby cross-staining is avoided. Due to its good rinseability, Esto-PVP is easily washed-off and does not interfere in subsequent dyefixing or softening. Esto-PVP can be used against conventional washing off agents. It is also recommended for stripping of vat and sulphur dyes.

1. Washing-off of dyeings by batch operation :

• 0.2-0.5 g/l Esto-PVP
• pH adjusted to 5-6. Residual salt concentration should be less than 2 g/l before soaping. Treat at 85-98 deg.C for 10-30 mins.

2. Washing-off of dyeings and prints on continous range :

• 0.5-1 g/l Esto-PVP
• pH 5-6, temp. 95-98 deg.C

3. Preventing re-deposition in stripping of vat, sulphur and reactive dyes :

• 4-6 g/l Caustic soda flakes
• 4-6 g/l Sodium hydrosulphite
• 0.5 g/l Esto-PVP
• 1-2 g/l celldet-R

Treat at 70-80 deg.C for 45-60 mins. Wash and neutralise before overdyeing.

Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
