Saraline-FI (CONC). | Leveling and Dispersing Agent
Saraline-FI (Conc). is a flake form dispersing, wetting and emulsifying agent. Saraline-FI (Conc). keeps the insoluble dye particles in fine dispersion and prevents redeposition on the substrate, therefore, it is useful in the dyeing of disperse dyes, acetate dyes, acid dyes, chrome dyes, and naphthol dyeing. Saraline-FI (Conc). also helps in smooth running of the pad bath hence preventing roller build up.
||Use as levelling, dispersing, emulsifying agent, hence less inventory
||Suitable for cotton, polyester, wool, silk & nylon
|Good dispersing/emulsifying action
||Can prevent silicone spots in the finishing of longer batches under advertise conditions
|pH of 1% solution||7 +/-1
|Miscibility||Miscible in hot water
|Stability||Stable to dilute acids & dilute alkalies.
|Compatibility||Compatible with anionic, cationic and non-ionic products.
1. Exhaust Dyeing of Polyester and blends and polyamide,
Wool and silk.
0.2-0.4 g/l Saraline-FI (Conc).
As a levelling and dispersing agent
2. Thermosol Dyeing of Polyester and Blends
2-4 g/l Saraline-FI (Conc).
in a pad, liquor improves bath stability, ensures uniform
dyeing and improves colour yield.
3. Roller build up
0.1-0.2 g/l addition of Saraline-FI ensures smooth running of
the pad bath thus preventing roller build up.
4. Pigment Printing
0.2-0.4% Saraline-FI (Conc).
Can be used as an emulsifier in preparation of emulsion thickening
for pigment printing.
5. Finishing of cotton, polyester/cellulosic, polyester/wool
Addition of 0.4-1.0 g/l Saraline-FI (Conc).
improves finishing bath stability under adverse conditions
such as incompatible recipe, longer storage time, water
containing TDS, etc.
Instructions For Dilution
20% dilution of Saraline-FI (Conc).
Take 80 parts of DM water at 80 deg.C and to this add slowly 20 parts of Saraline-FI (Conc). under constant stirring at 150-220 rpm using a paddle stirrer. Continue stirring till product cools down to room temperature and it becomes a homogeneous liquid.
Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.
Shelf Life : 8 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
