Reducon-ACD (Conc) is a reduction clearing agent available in powder form. Reducon-ACD (Conc) removes unfixed disperse dyes in acidic medium from polyester and its blends with polyacrylonitrile. It is applied in cooling dyebath of acidic medium. It is water soluble thus make easy dosing process.
|Works under acidic pH
||Alkalifying, fresh bath and reacidifying is not require
|Dyeing followed by reduction clearing in the same dye bath
||Saves time, energy, water and reduces effluent load
||White to off white powder
|pH of 1% solution||11 +/- 2
|Miscibility||Soluble with water
||Compatible with anionic, cationic and nonionic products
||Stable to dilute acids and dilute alkalies
It is highly effective in a cooling acid dye bath, the pH of the bath should be 3.5-4.5
After dyeing, treat the dyed substrate at 70-80 deg.C for 10-20 min. followed by rinsing.
SUGGESTED RECIPE - Light to Medium shade
|Saragen-SO||0.3-0.5 g/l (Optional) OR|
Addition of dispersing agents (Saragen-SO, Saragen-DAM) improves removal of dye in case of polyester/spandex.
Dosages of diluted product to be calculated on the basis of solid content.
Dosages to be taken depending on the depth of shade.
Note : For Dark shade
Drain the dye bath and then add 1-2% owf Reducon-ACD (Conc) + 1% Saragen-SO at pH 3.5-4.5 at 75-80 deg.C for 20-30 min
Instructions For Dilution
Procedure to prepare 30% diluted product of 100% Reducon-ACD (Conc).
Preservation: It is recommended to add 0.1% Bronopol (2-Bromo,2-nitropropane, 1,3-diol) or Methyl Paraben (methyl para hydroxy benzoate) as an antimicrobial agent to avoid fungal / microbial growth.
Note: Un-dissolved particles if any can be filtered off.
Storage: Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.
Shelf Life: 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
