| Product Information |
Saracid-RS is specially developed acid buffer which is viscose
friendly. Thus, in dyeing and printing of polyester fabrics containing viscose
fibre, Saracid-RS can safely be used which does not damage viscose. Saracid-RS
performs various functions when added to the dyebath used for dyeing polyester
and its
blends. Saracid-RS exerts a buffering action in the dyebath, has dispersing
action on the dyestuffs, prevents its deposition on the fabric or machine parts
and has chelating action on heavy metal salts that may be present in water used
in dyeing.
Saracid-RS can also be used during batching of fabric for printing, during
pad-dry-thermofix operation for continuous dyeing. Addition of Saracid-RS in
print paste is also helpful to obtain required yields with brightness.
Saracid-RS improves print paste stability and prevents speckiness.

| Application |
1. Exhaust dyeing of Polyester fibre, yarn, fabric and polyester
blends
Addition of 0.5 - 1.0 g/l Saracid-RS
can give desired pH 4.5-5.5 which is maintained throughout
the dyeing cycle.
2. Continuos Dyeing of Polyester
2-5 g/l Saracid-RS
in padding liquor to maintain desired pH and bath stability.
3. Polyester Printing
Addition of 0.5% - 1.0% Saracid-RS
in a neutralised thickner for brighter prints.
